This book was adapted from an original story written by John McDonald in 1929 and revised in 1993. It has been adapted and edited by the writer. It was brought to the writers attention by Keith Stockley a friend and fellow member of the Masonic Fraternity.
The aim of Freemasonry is to make good men better. It is a fraternity of men that wish to improve themselves, and society. Mason’s achieve that aim by studying and learning Masonic ritual that has an undertone to help you to be a better person. The lessons in freemasonry are veiled in allegory to make them seem less like a sermon.
This fable follows the same path. It is a story that is easily palatable, with an underlying message of how to improve your life.
It follows a similar message in the famous book “The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho”, but with a modern-day twist.
